She is vietnamese, it makes her make-up demos much easier to relate to.
Among all 100s of videos, her DIY tutorials caught my attention the most.
What I luv about her is that she isn't afraid to share techniques & idea that nobody has heard of and the stuff she used in the videos are often easy & inexpensive to get.
From using dish washing liquid + extra virgin olive oil as brush cleanser
to hair-curling with PAPER-BAGS!
to DIY toner & cotton mask with RICE
or facial scrub with ASPRIN
or green tea ice facial
Like she said: "simple things in life can really come in handy!". It doesn't always have to be Le Mer or Cle de Peau. (in the video of her CVS on-site product review she mentioned that in some tests/ research, they actually found out Olay's Total Effect is better than Le Mer. Surprise!)
It simply shows how creative a make-up artist she is.
And the fact that she looks like Jolin Tsai & Ella Koon is just another reason to get myself addicted to her channel :)
